Just ran across this stump puller - only 2 HP!
For sure!Very interesting and enlightening.
Observations -
- the horses were very well trained and most patient
I was surprised at how much damage was done to the ground. Use of a padded strap may eliminate girdling.- the damage to the driveway and "leverage tree" guarantees future projects
I had the same thought. But then again, in relation to your next statement, it's a whole lot faster than letting them rot!- time must not be a great concern
Well if you are clearing a wood for planting corn, by the time the stumps rotted you'd be dead (from lack of food).- the removal of stumps must be of critical importance - otherwise, let them rot - a lot of effort for the removal of an 8" stump
What's amazing to me is that it could be done. Like the Egyptian pyramids.- one area where modern technology is a definite help
