2 Piece Kubota

A guy I work with recently bought a new MX5100 4x4 w/o a FEL.
Last week he told me that he was pulling a graderbox (rippers not down)
and heard a loud noise and a jerk and the tractor stopped.
He thought he hit something that he hadn't seen, he got off of the tractor to see what the problem was.
There was oil pouring out, the tractor broke between the transmission and the rear end.
The dealer picked it up in 2 peices with a roolback wrecker.
The tractor had 32 hrs on it, no user abuse found, and Kubota is replacing with a new one.
The guy says the metal was very thin and not what he would expect to see
on a tractor of that size.

I can see it happening if he was going full out and hit an immovable object.

This can't be true. We all know Kubota's dont follow the law of physics and therefore could NEVER break.

I think the OP bailed on this thread long before you, due to being called a "Liar." If I recall correctly - He was set to post pics when he got them, but then someone used the "L" word (no, not that "L" word) and pi**ed him off, so he said he wouldn't post them even if his buddy did send them. End of story.

Could've been a constructive thread, if allowed to blossom...

You sure did see alot more in these posts then I was able to read or see!!!!!! For what he said originally I would say that Kubota was dealing with it the correct way with the replacement.

All things man made can and will fail if pushed past their limits. Could have been a bad casting caused a weak spot.
