They charge more and they won't deliver.

Why would they deliver? They are afterall a gas "station". If you want it delivered you go to a fuel supplier.
They charge more. Of course they do. They have overhead, employees, etc... The middle man alway's charges more. More handling, more cost. Get from the supplier and you decrease the amount of handling and operational overhead, less cost.
