I'm retiring a 1999 NH lx665. I've been very happy with it except for traveling speed. I'm looking at lx885, ls180, ls190 etc. Are the 2-speed models as reliable as the single speed? I always seem to need it at opposite ends of the farm. Are the ls series as reliable and as easy to work on as the lx? I'm happy with the bare bones lx with foot controls, so I'm only looking to upgrade for more speed and possibly more lift capacity, but I'd rather go slow then be buying new drives and or wrenching all the time. I'm only interested in wheeled NH skidsteers, and obviously I'm buying used. Thanks for your experiences!
