This is a friend of my wife's from Warren, PA. This was a terrible accident. He turned his tractor and doing so the Brush Hog went over top the little girl. Here is the story below, I know they say it is a riding lawn mower but it was a tractor and brush hog....
The family of Morgan Zaffino are coming together to help raise money for Morgan's medical expenses and new limbs!
Hello everybody, Morgan is my baby cousin who was in a terrible accident on August 24, 2011. She is two years old and now has a very long road ahead of her.
Morgan was outside riding around on a riding lawn mower with her father, and she wanted to get off. Her father let her off over on the porch and continued to mow the grass. Before he got a couple feet away, he looked back to check on her and she was laying on the ground. Somehow she was ran over by the lawn mower and she lost both her right arm and her right leg. Her father used to be a volunteer firefighter, so he saved her life by putting tourniquets on her arm and leg. She was flown in a helicopter to a Children's Hospital, and was in critical condition.
As of right now, she is undergoing many surgeries, but is thankfully in stable condition. Morgan is going to have to go through so much as such a young age without her arm and leg. Our family, and her parents are going to have so many medical bills to pay, and I would love to raise money to help them and possibly even get her a prosthetic arm and leg. We would greatly appreciate any support and donations that we can get. Anything little thing would make a huge difference! Thank you so much!
