That seems to me to be the perfect time and coupon to buy a nice log-splitter like their 24-ton model. At the regular price of $1099, that would give you almost $220 off. $879 plus tax; what a deal!

The last thread where 20% coupon was posted, I printed it out and got myself a Cambell Housefield 80 gallon 2 stage compressor for 20% off! That one came in perfect timing for me.

And to think I blew my coupon on a 12" planer.

But, it was on sale too! So the additional 20% off brought the planer down to $175. If you catch a sale with the coupon, you can get some pretty good deals. HF will occationally send a coupon for 10-20% off your entire purchase rather than one item.

That is really weird..
I just went to one of the stores in Mass. Didn't get this coupon, but the Big item I bought was already $10- less than catalog (would have been better with the additional discount). I did notice that several items were priced different (higher) than on-line, and one item rang up less than was listed on the wall?!?!?!?

The cashier said, I could print out the info from the on-line store and they would honor it at that location.

To make it worse, the sales flyer they were giving out at the door (last Friday 2/27) was for a 3 day sale that isn't starting until this week?!?!?!?

talk about confusing-How can they stay in business????? Oh well, guess I came out of it O.K.- Just hope i can make it back down there before this coupon expires! (I just won't tell the wife this time

)
