I’ve been getting that scrolling message on my 4044R but the soot level is just 48 percent, lower than where the regen usually kicks in. This message is new for me. Does this tell me that a regen is about to happen regardless of the soot level?
My concern is that our winter temperatures are so low the conditions for a regen won’t be met as the engine temp can’t make the threshold. In the past the tractor has gone into limp mode if it couldn’t regenerate and remained there till the weather improved. That’s not workable in snow country. Running at PTO speed keeps the soot level below 50, but if there’s an hour limit between burnouts I’d be screwed.
