Hello All,

First off thanks for all your help. I probably spent a month at this site going through the posts before I bought a 2210 with FEL last week.

I'd seen some threads on the 200CX and was able to get one on my 2210. It's a real nice loader, it IS a quick disconnect with built in stands, it came with a 53" bucket and I haven't seen it stall out yet. I was fortunate enough to have several yards of soil piled up and ready to be moved when the loader arrived so I was able to get some time with it right away. It wasn't gravel, but even with a full bucket the loader never had problems up or down.

I thought the sight could use this, so here is a picture of the loader. Sorry it's taken at night.

Here is a photo of the disconnect point.

Basically, you raise the front tires off the ground, flip up these big attachment pawls on either side, then keep raising the bucket. The stands set themselves in place and the whole procss takes about 30 seconds, after that it's just a matter of disconnecting the hoses.

Hope this helps.

Nice pictures of the new 200cx loader! Do you know what the lift capacity is for the 200cx loader? Could you post more pictures of the loader maybe with it off and close up of the attachment points. I am very interested in this new setup. Have lots of fun OOPS! I mean do lots of work with the new machine. (just in case the Mrs. is reading this post). ENJOY THE NEW TOY. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Russ,

I posted a photo of the loader removed in the JD buying section.

I counted one-mississippi, two-mississippi and at two thousand rpms, the cylce times are about 5 seconds up, 4 seconds down, 3 to dump, and 3 to curl. As far as weight rating, I've seen it posted somewhere else, and don't remember what the manual says I think I remember about 800lbs.

If you have not noticed, there is been a big thead about how Deere gives a theoritical ratting for their loader specs. Right now, I can't dig up any true specs on that loader anywhere online. Its more than likly that the actual capactiy of that loader is around 460lbs, just like the loader it replaced.

According to John Deere's website, it reads:

"Specifications Per ASAE 301.3
Measured @ Pivot Pin (4110):
Lift Capacity 800 Lbs"

Now based on some recent research I have done (and this is based on averages) the actual lift capacity of a loader is going to be something like 30% to 40% LOWER at 500mm in front of the pivot points, that is roughly the bucket center point. Neil's guesstimate is probably pretty close to accurate, but maybe just a shade low. I'd guess closer to 500#-to-550#?

Unfortunately JD has shifted from what I consider to be honest, real life, measurements to unrealistic pivot point measurements. (at least it appears that for their newer models) However, JD does (somewhere) have owners manuals on the website which show capacities at the more accurate/real life measurement points.

Here is a link to the thread that shows much more detail (and candor) regarding the tricks the marketing departments that several tractor companies are using: Bucket Capacity versus Real Capacity

I suppose I should also point out that while I guessed 500# to 550# as the capacity of the 200CX, I doubt it would lift that to FULL HEIGHT. It will probably lift it a foot off the ground and carry it, but it probably won't lift it to the full height. That is another problem with the numbers that some of the manufacturers are now publisihing. You have to look deep down into the product manuals to see the REAL capacities of MOST brands of loaders. The specs the manufacturers publish are at very least INCOMPLETE and to the uninformed, are VERY MISLEADING.
