Price Check 2000 BX1800 w/900 hours estimated value

Hey everyone...first post!

Well I committed to buying a 2000 BX1800 with 900 hours on it today for $4200 with a rear scraper blade. I don't have it yet but I was curious what yall thought about that price.

I just bought a house on 8 acres (4 acres grassed) and this tractor is what the previous owner used to cut grass and regrade the gravel driveway. It appears that it has been doing its job well, starts up well, and sounds fine.

From my research most tractors for sell similar to this were selling for around $6000.

Well that's good to hear. I went back and forth many times about getting it because I wasn't initially planning on spending that kind of money on anything!

Sounds cheap',,,,,,change the fluids!,,,,,see if there's anything (shavings ) in the screens and filters, do it now so you can go back to the other owner if there's a problem. It'll be $200 worth of piece of mind
