2000 gmc yukon xl fr xfer case oil capacity?

Anyone got an idea on the oil capacity of the front xfer case (4wd) for the 2000 gmc yukon xl ( 1500 ) 5.3l engine?

I was thinking 2 qts.. but can't find it in the manual.

Not sure which transfer case you have but here's what my Chek-Chart manual calls for.

NV241, 243 4.4 pints
BW4401 3.2 pints
BW4470 3.2 pints
NV236, 246, 261 4 pints

Thanks.. It 'eyeballed out to 2 qts. looks ike I was right in the middle of the range of possibilities.

does it have auto mode? if it does i hope you used the blue fluid other wise things are going to get sticky in there

I am not sure if the 2000 calls for the special blue sythetic stuff or not but it took the drive line clunk out of my 2001 Its worth the $9 or so.

i remember putting main shafts in for that then they came out with smurf blood as we call it and that was the fix. atf would gum stuff up and cause a clunk noise. i built so many of those things per gm before the majic fluid came out.
