Just a heads up for those that are searching for good deals.
In Machinerylink.com there is a add for a 2000 NH TC29. Here is what happened when I attempted to buy it.
The phone number is bad. I contacted the seller through email. He would not give me a phone number nor his name. I told him I would buy the tractor for $8000. He wanted to use www.international-autoshippers.com to do the transaction through. They in turn emailed me telling me to wire money to an account in Michigan. They are located in Nevada. They would not answer the phone or return my messages. I called the bank that they wanted the money transfered to and the employee there told me that it was to a personal account that was in "poor standing". In otherwords they were overdrawn. I responded to both the 'seller' and the shipping company with what I found out and nobody return my messages. I even offered the supposed seller that I would drive to Kansas City with a trailer and certified check. No response.
As it turns out, there has been a few news items regarding internet fraud of these types of escrow, shippers. I'm just glad I didn't send the money. It would have been a goner for sure..
