Are these tractors being sold by dealers or private sale?

Do you have local Kubota and JD dealers where you will buy parts and/or get service?

Both sound like nice tractors and have had about 80 - 90 hours/year put on them. Your profile doesn't indicate where you are from, so there's no way to determine whether this 70 hours happened across 12 months (1.5 - 2.0 hours/week) or fewer months. Either way, I don't think that's a lot of hours.

My vote would be for the JD since it's got more hp. However, I would first visit the local JD dealers and see if they are a place I'd want to begin doing business with.

P.S.

Do you have local Kubota and JD dealers? If so, I'd visit each one to see if they're good people to do service/parts business with. I'd even ask the person selling the tractors if they'd mind, as a condition of you purchasing one of them, having the appropriate dealer look over them. Sort of like taking a used car to a mechanic for evaluation.

Ask the seller if they have the service records for each tractor to verify it's been taken care of.

As Mike said both are fine tractors and the hours are so low that makes little difference. Which transmissions do both of them have? That can make a big difference when it comes to loader/backhoe work.
