2001 TC29D - Lubricate seat slide?

My wife and I each need the seat of our 2001 TC29D in a different position when we operate the tractor, but the slide is stuck fast. Has anyone had success lubricating the seat slide and what did you use?

I use Fluid Film but any light oil would work. I slide the seat forward and spray everthing I can see as well as what I can't see. Slide the seat all the way back and repeat. Seems to get enough to the track to make it easier.
