2002 LK3054 - Fluid leaking out the top of the gear box?

Mine is a 2002 so the shifter is on the floor area. After getting the tractor nice and warm, I get some fluid oozing out the top of the shifter. It's not much, its just enough for the dirt and sand to start sticking to it. It's hard to tell on my view window but could this be from overfilling? Sometimes it looks like the fluid is on the very top line of the view port and other times I can just see a small bubble on the top of the glass. I wonder if the the PO overfilled it? Any ideas? Looking at the parts manual it appears there is an oil seal(oil shield) directly under the cover. The manual lists two part numbers; T4240-23871 and T4124-23871 which supersedes the earlier no. However, if I had to guess, the transmission/gear case is overfull; I never fill mine over the middle of the sight glass and have never had an issue

Great thanks for the seal numbers! So far it looks like it has stopped the seeping. Fluid level on the window is still pretty high so I am more convinced that it was over filled.
