2002 S250 Bobcat.

My 2002 S250 loader started acting up a few days ago. While working the machine the lift/tilt function would stop working. At first I could get the machine to work again simply by shutting down and restarting. Sometimes the tilt/lift light would go out and sometimes the light was on even though I had no lift/tilt function. After a day or so the lift/tilt function would not work at all and the light stayed out. Next I could still start the machine but the seat bar light would not go on. I checked all the fuse's and replaced the seat bar sensor. No help. I get some error codes usually relating to low hydraulic presssure, or low system voltage. The battery is in good shape. I've checked and cleaned battery grounds. The foot pedals remain locked. At one point I removed the tilt solenoid, tested it, replaced it and everything worked for a few hours. However, then the machine just shut down and now no lights come on with the seat bar down and I can't move the machine. I'm at a loss what to try next. Any ideas? Thank You, Pickett.

It sounds like one or more loose ground connections. Check all ground connections, pay special attnetion to the small black ground wires connecting to either the negative battery terminal or the engine block. Look for any broken/partially broken wires where they are crimped to the eyelet.
The lift/tilt lock solenoid uses 2 circuits to release and hold lock. One is momentary high amperage to pull the vavle stem, this is activated when PTOL button is pushed. 2nd circuit is low amperage hold circuit and this circuit is connected to the light indicator. When ground is lost the solenoid drops the stem to lock and when ground returns the light will come back on but the stem will not retract until the PTOL pushed again. The pedal lock solenoids may be on same ground or seperate gorund.
