Price Check 2002 TC45D Price

Hi,

I'm looking for opinions on a fair asking (selling) price for an
2002 TC45D (300 hours)
w/ 16LA Loader &
758C Backhoe w/ 18" bucket.

Whole unit in mint condition for age. Been well maintained and parked inside. No fading or scratches.

George, your tractor is basically a new tractor with no warranty. Because of that, I'd want $4000-$5000 off the original price and then another $1500 for the hours. I'd guess you should ask about $22,000 with the backhoe, but you may have a hard time getting that much. I'm guessing that you paid about $28,500 for it originally. That's a heck of a bite, but you are competing with the dealers who have financing, warranty, and completely new tractors. That's pretty stiff competition. You'll have to find someone who knows the tractor and it's worth who is willing to lay out over $20k. Those buyers may be hard to find. There's no doubt the tractor is worth a lot, but it has no warranty. That's the most damaging feature in my estimation.

For what it's worth, Longmont Farm Supply, a New Holland dealer in Longmont Colorado, has a 2003 TC45D with 16LA FEL with SSL quick attach, one rear remote, R4s, 210 hours, in "very good" condition advertised for $21,000.
