Went to use my tractor today and it won't "go". Cranks and runs great. Tried numerous gears 1-8, it just won't engage when I shift the power shuttle forward or back. Tried numerous combinations with the clutch....never engages.
I've read where the seat sensor may fail and not permit the tractor to move. It beeps when I get up off of the seat with the tractor running, so I don't think it's that.
I also checked it had plenty of hydraulic/trans fluid....I put a bit more in it but don't think it's that.
I did find a black snake curled up in the dashboard when i took the screws out and opened it to check fuses/relays. I've seen him on my tractor before...he likes it. Looks like some mice had made a nest in there so I cleaned it out good, but didn't solve any problems.
Any ideas anyone? I hate to have to have someone come get this thing just to fix something stupid....but I don't have alot of time to debug and tinker either.
