2004 Jinma 284LE value? (has issues)

So I am doing some work for some people who have a Jinma tractor. It's a diesel, about the only good thing is it has 154 hours on it and the engine runs good.

However, the Gannon valve has a leak so you must raise it back up every 20 seconds or it will fall and drag.

There is a fairly bad hydraulic leak at the outlet of the hydraulic pump (looks like a hose or fitting)

And yesterday as I was scooping up dirt the right front hydraulic ram for the tilt bucket sprang a massive leak and I leaked out all hydraulic fluid in minutes. I was barely able to get it off the road.

Based on this, but the engine and tires are good, what is his tractor worth, about?

This was a cheap tractor when it was brand new. If memory serves they started around $4k in that era. Figure in 13 years of depreciation and the known things wrong and I think the owner should be thrilled to get $1k for it. That may be high, it may be worth as little as scrap value, around ten cents a pound.

If you're thinking of buying, all of the hydraulic issues are fixable, parts are easily available. These tractors are pretty straightforward to work on, like old cars. You take pieces off until you find the broken part, you replace it, you put it back together again.

With a loader they were closer to 6K in my neck of the woods... How has it been stored all those years? IE: is it all weathered/rusted up? None of the problems you described sound terribly serious...
