Looking for someone with experience on the MF431. I'm just over 500 hrs and want to adjust the valves but also have a lazy injector (my best guess at this point). Occasionally the perkins will have a rough idle just after starting. It takes about 30 - 90 seconds and it smooths out. Guessing I have one injector that isn't quite right. Doesn't soot so the rough idle must be fuel shortage.
Would like to adjust the valves and don't have a repair manual. Looks like the entire hood and fuel cell must be removed to get access to the top of the engine.
Any input is appreciated.
