Looking at a used Ranger with 474 hours on it. Any problems to look for? How much life is left in it? Supposedly a older couple had it on a farm. Is it worth $4400?

look for cracked a-arm suports. also check for rust on the frame. another thing to look for is any paint that has been flacked off the welds . i have repaired a few polaris's and all of them had cracks in the a-arm areas and the all the welds dealing with the front and rearends was all stressed out and the paint ha been cracked off from the welds flexing. if there is new paint on it look at the metal closely to see if there is any curve of bulges in them . the motorsare a hit and mis thing i see some 10 year old polaris's still running around with no problems and i seen a 6 month old polaris throw a rod right through the engine block for no reason.
