2005 CASE IH DX25E

My 2005 has 586 hrs on it...tonight I was cutting grass and all of a sudden the tractor starting starving for fuel. it would go from 2500 rpm to 1000 rpm.

I let the tractor sit for about an hr and was able to start it up again. Sounds like it is getting too hot when starving for fuel. I clean out the fuel cap with a compressor, it was dirty but didn't work.

Any idea where I should start?

Mine was doing the same and then I discovered it had 2 fuel filters on it. The rear one was full of water, I changed it and problem was solved. In case you have trouble finding it my second (actually the first that fuel goes through) is located on the frame behind the left rear tire.

Where is the other filter? The DX25 is the same as my Kioti CS2410 and I only thought it had one filter.

Mine has one inside the left rear tire like I stated earlier (it's just an inline filter) and the other is located under the hood (it is a replaceable cartridge filter).
