Looks like a great deal. Nice clean tractor with low hours, nice package deal at a great price. It might be nice to have a few more HP at the PTO but if your not trying to pull a 6 ft mower uphill trough 3 ft grass it will do great.

I have a 2000 MF 1260 (for two whole weeks) that I'm falling in love with.

Hope you get it.

Not A bad Price, just check it out closely, like signs of overheating, IE radiator damage and the like. some people just don't clean the radiators out like they should. but still a good price.

We bought it. At the dealer getting a full service/once over and should be ready this week. Not sure if I'll get a chance to use it this upcoming weekend, but I'm going to try. Looking over manuals now.

Thanks! Pretty excited about it. Wish I could mess around with it this upcoming weekend, but it is "gentlemen's weekend" at buddy's farm. I may not be able to resist the urge and go to our place and piddle around a bit on it, though.

the suspense of the wait is killing me...

tractor was sent to dealer to get serviced and they found a crushed hydraulic line underneath and have to order the part(s). Won't have this thing until next week. I was really hoping to piddle around on it a little Friday afternoon/Sat morning.

I'll check it out...and I agree about the price. Just happened to think about checking CL out and it was there. Missed the last deal we found a week prior so we called the guy up and went to check it out. Glad we did.

Seller said we could buy his tandem axle trailer for $6-700
has the implements loaded on it for us to use to take to the property and also said we could use it to move the tractor as well even if we didn't buy it from him. I'm thinking if it looks decent, we'll get it.

Well, we bought it for $600
He also gave us some forks he had made that would fit on bucket. Open the clamshell a bit and sit it on them then close the bucket. Not sure what we will ever do with them, but I'm sure something will come along needing to be lifted.

here's the trailer. 16' long...needs a bit of tack welding done and will get that done at the shop here at work.

The Allis Chalmers in the background is the bossman's, not ours. :(

We didn't get the trailer. Just took it back today (seller let us use it and check it out before buying). Had sides welded up (simple job), but needed new shackles, bearings and possibly springs.

Borrowing a trailer for now, and actually supposed to pick tractor up from dealership in an hour or two.

Question, though...
any idea on what the tractor weighs with FEL? (ours is 4 in 1, so it would be a little heavier than normal 1525 FEL, I assume)
