I just purchased 2006 one Owner jx1080u
700hrs very clean
I changed all the filters with original case ones and also changed the engine oil
with case 15/40w
when I first started the tractor it took a long time for the oil light to go out
as while the emergency stop light came on
timed it with a stopwatch time was about 12 secs at idle before lights go out
did this every morning
less time when warm also less time with partial throttle that start up
I talked to case ih dealer they adjusted I try a Fleet guard oil filter as they have had problems with original case filters with the Anti drain back valve
happens to be the filter for The jx1080u is same is my McCormick mtx150
which is great
this helped a lot now the cold start up at idle is about 5to 6 sec
do any of you know what your time at start up at idle is for jx1080u

the 4x4 light is always on but if you turn the 4x4 switch off and on
you can feel it engage in disengage same as my mccormick mtx150
