A friend at one of the local farm stores here in Minnesota called me today after returning from the Cubet Cadet dealers show in Nashville, TN. He informed me that CC would have a new model called a 5264 with a 26 hp diesel engine. He also said that CC was introducing a new 4x4 RUV that was very nice. I am going to see him tomorrow and hopefully get more details. Does anyone else have any new info that you could share?

Yeah, there are some changes coming in the compact line. The new 4x4's look good, nothing like the current Big Countrys. I will say this, if you plan on getting a 1000 series mower the time to buy is NOW. If you want to purchase a 2000 series then WAIT on the new models. Also be on the lookout for a diesel Tank model, and some other Z-Force models in the lineup. Thats all I can spill at the moment...will tell later after these units are revealed to the public.

When are they being released to the public? I plan to buy something by the end ot October 05, either the 2042 or the 2544, having a hard time deciding. Thanks.

There is no date as of yet. Most of the units at the dealer show were concept units. The information is being setup right now.

Pretty much its going to be what we have currently plus a few surprises. I can't release any information at this time.

Most of the dealers in my area are not expecting the new units until February or March. I really wanted to make a purchase before winter, but I'm going to wait on the new models to arrive.

Cubtech, can you tell us if the new Cub tractors have the curved loader, and will there be any changes to the 6284? I was thinking of purchasing a 2005 6284, but the dealer said that they had encountered some problems with this years model. The 6284 seems to be the right tractor for my needs.

Stopgo, word on the streets from someone in the know over on another CC forum is, the 2006 CC 2000+ will have the hood and big comfy seating postion of the current 1500 series. The frame, cast iron transaxle, shaft drive and horizontal shaft engine will remain the same. The whole (plastic) hood will lift up from the front like the current 1500 series, and supposedly the turning radius will be tighter. Sounds like an awesome upgrade to me, but you can bet the MSRP will go up! Like I said in a previous post, from what I've seen in the past, the 2006's wont be in the showrooms until Feb or March. If you want the most for your $, wait until after Jan 1st and buy a leftover 2042 or 2544. You will typically save around $500 off MSRP.
G/luck

Hello everyone, I am knew to this forum, I am considering buying Z force 50 for 3,999 but I also like the M60. I own almost 4 acres of land and I cut grass on the side approx 7 acres. Which would you all recommend. and what are the new specs for the ZForce for 2006, is it worth waiting for or should I get 2005 model...... I currently have a JD Gt model... But I really like the ZFORCE .... thanking everyone in advance........ /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

With you cutting your 4 acres and then another 7 on the side then I would recommend the M60 without question. I tell people that a Z-Foce should be good for about 4-5 acres, but wouldn't recommend it for 11 acres thats for sure! I think the commercial unit would serve your needs much better and would easily double the longevity of the machine.
