I have a 2006 HPx Gator and having trouble with the belt wearing out after 10 hrs of using it. I am also looking for the proper fuse location at the fuse block under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Is there anyone that can help me please??!!??

Tell us more about the belt wear. You say it wore out after 10 hours of using it. Was it a new belt 10 hours ago? Or have you only had it for 10 hours of use. How many hours on the machine?

Does your fuse box have 8 separate fuse locations? What fuse location are you concerned about?

The fuse panel for the hpx is under tha passeger seat. Flip it forward and you will find the fuse panel by the driver's side of the battery.

Jerry it was a new belt 10 hrs ago. From a dead stop the belt will spin and I have to apply half or more throttle to get it to move, but this is the second belt to do this. The machine has 500hrs on it.
I had to switch fuses around because I blew one when i turned on my spot lights while i was coming home from a hunt. I had to swich a 40amp for power to the ignition switch. but then had to move aroundothers to have my oem lights to work. Yes I do believe it is an eight cavity box. I just need locations to get them all back where they belong.
Thanks for any and all input!

It sounds like there's something wrong with your clutch. I haven't had to work on one, so hopefully someone else can help. Below is a fuse box "map" from the manual for my '08. Hope it helps.

I also think it is the clutch. It has a de-clutching feature. It sounds like that is sticking and failing to engage until the engine is revving higher than normal. Look at the belt, it should not look worn out after 10 hours as they normally last 400-800 hours. If it wore out in 10, there should've been burning rubber smell and smoke coming out.
Hopefully somebody will know the proper troubleshooting procedure. Good luck and please keep us informed of your progress and conclusions.

The clutches are very similar to snowmobile clutching. And they all require regular maintenance. If it has not been service lately, it is time as what you describe is obvious signs of sticking rollers and bushings.
Clutches are under a lot of spring pressure, so unless you are aware of how to do this service, have your dealer perform the tune-up. You'll immediately notice a huge difference.

yup take down that clutch and replace the old rollers when they get old and dirty they stick and it will cause your belt to slip. something you might wanna change or atleast check is the clutch buttons too they wear down also .i think after you do a clutch inspection you'll be up and spinnin the tires instead of the belt. rememeber not to get any grease on the clutch keep it all inside the houseing. and how long has it been sisne you cleaned the clutch enclosure filter?

clutch enclosure filter? So I guess my answer would be never? I will have to find it and change it. It does look like there is some sticking going on due to black marks on near and around buttons. The belt is def. slipping untill the engine revs higher and yes I can smell the belt burning bu t there is no smoke.
