I'm on the verge of taking delivery of a 2005 BX23, and I've heard new rumors in these forums that the BX's are seeing change for 2006. Does anyone know what is rumored to change? I need to make a snap decision on waiting if it is something good, or if is the 'graphics' update only and not worth waiting for.

When is it 'normal' for Kubota to release the new info?

We will find out in a few months, but you probably won't see product till next spring. Thats now the normal product cycles work.

There's some scuttlebutt over on the JD board about an upcoming replacement for the 2210 due next month. When that model hits the market that should give some indication as to what Kubota has in store.

I would guess Kubota and JD will be doing some one-upmanship with their Sub-CUTs.

A few months ago on this site there was some postings about a rumor of a B7610 sized TLB coming from Kubota. I guess this would fit in between the BX23 and the B21 - anybody heard any more about that one?

Here is the DYI version.

If Kubota had a B7610 sized TLB that was more along the lines of the BX23 / B21 I would have probably gone for that over the BX23 I ended up getting. The major thing that turned me off to a B7510/B7610 sized tractor was that the backhoe hung so far off the back of the tractor vs the BX. The B21 specs say that there is a 20 or 21 degree angle of of departure and the BX I think has something similar. The 7610 with either the Kubota or Woods backhoe hanging off the back does not have this. The BX and B21 style 4 point backhoe hookup makes for very easy swaps between backhoe and 3pt implements. If they put a 4pt mount backhoe on a B7610, put a swivel seat and more spacious ROPS like the BX23, and put a quick attach setup on the FEL bucket I would trade in my BX23 in a heartbeat. And make sure the backhoe has at least a 7ft dig depth too.

They don't release much until near the delivery date. The dealer show in the winter is probably when the first photos will be seen. I've heard it's like a military lock down at the Georgia facility.

Sounds pretty exciting though. I'd wait if you can manage it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
