2007 CC RZT50

I'm in the market for a quality used mower, and my local CC dealer has a 2007 CC RZT50 with 30 hours on it, for $950. He says the previous owner bought it from a big box store and did not check the oil in it and burned it up. The dealer replaced the 22hp Kawasaki engine and it's ready to go. The owner decided to buy a bigger model from the dealer. The dealer is ready to move it off of his lot. I wasn't really looking for a ZT mower, but, after looking at the retail price of a new RZT50, this sounds like a pretty good deal. I have an acre worth of lawn that I mow with my old tired riding mower, and another 3 acres of pasture planted with coastal that I usually shred with my Yanmar. If I decide to just use this RZT50 for my 1 acre yard...is this a little overkill? Should I be concerned about anything else about this particular mower (ie. the new motor, amount of hours, etc.)?

Sounds like an outstanding deal if the machine is in new condition. Especially if the dealer will back the purchase.

I have a RZT50 cc and i love it. No problems no issues. This unit is fast and puts out a beautiful cut.

I have an 84" 3 pt finishing mower, i don't really use it anymore why because, i can do my grass in about the same time with the zero turn as i can with the 84".

The big mower is great on the open spaces but it takes longer around the corners, so what i was doing is going around the trees with the small one and then hooking up the big one to finish it would take long be the time i hooked up the unit then did the grass. So i just started using the small one.

I do want to comment on your dealer something doesn't seem right. A couple of years ago i paid $4000 cdn. I bet your dealer could not even get a Kaw engine for $950.
How many hours?

I am not saying don't buy it just be careful. People don't usually give things away. Maybe he had a donor engine from another machine. and just changed it out for the one in the machine you are looking at.

You will love it if you get it. If i did have one complaint you need 2 hands so if you want to take a drink of water you have to stop. It does have a cup holder though.

Sounds like something you should move on quickly. I would ask if the engine has been replaced or rebuilt. If it has been replaced there sb a warranty available on it. The warranty on the mower goes to the first buyer only, so assume no warranty exists there. If the engine has been replace it's a STEAL!!
