2007 L4240, L4740 Cab Lack of Transmission Options

I was talking to a dealer today and he told me that the L4240, L4740 with a cab will only come with the HSTP transmission. He said, Kubota will not be putting any of the GST transmission with the cab option.

I find this hard to believe since the GST is great transmission. Besides why would you not be able to put a cab on a GST tractor. It doesn't make since to me.

Does anyone know if this is true? If so, WHY?

See if you can get in touch with Steve at Carver Equipment on this site. I think according to a posting he made that the GST is available on the L4740.

The 4740 is listed as hydro only with the cab. The market was slow on the gst tractors with the cab so it was dropped. They may come back with it as you are not the only person who would like one.
