2008 Chev & Prodigy controller

Has anyone installed a Prodigy Brake control on a 2008 Chev. 2500HD ?

The truck has the 7 pin connector and the heavy duty trailering package but not the new GM brake controller. On my 2005 truck it was just a matter of plugging into the electrical panel under the dash and adding a fuse but on the 2008 the owners manual makes reference to blunt cut wires hanging under the dash that need to be connected.

Any experienced help would be greatly appreciated.

If it is like our 2005 Trailblazer, it isn't a big deal. Just now instead of the pig tail that you plug in, the wires are just there and you connect to them same as you would have connected the wires to the pig tail.

Yep, very similar to the Trailblazer except for the Gray handle and I only had to connect the charging wire under the hood.

I can understand the blunt wires under the dash.....but what a PITA for the brake and charge wire....I guess it's still better than nothing

They were not bad at all they were just taped to a wire bundle and when you untaped them they fit right on the studs. The gray handle was not in the way at all. Biggest problem was finding local metric nuts. I live in small town Georgia and we are not quite up on the metric system yet .
