I have been new tractor shopping and ran across a 2008 CT230, not to bad for the price. Does anyone have these “1st generation“ tractor? Pros/Cons. Thanks,

Hey. I’m near St. Louis. We drive thru Poplar Bluff often on the way to Little Rock.

I have the CT235. Same tractor only 35hp.

I bought new in 2008.

It’s been fantastic for me. No issues.

I’m pretty easy on the tractor as I only use to mow and bush hog. Plus a little loader work like moving rocks and dirt and mulch for landscaping.

I have 650 hours. You don’t mention hours in the one you are looking to buy.

Routine maintenance is pretty easy.

936 hours, doesn’t look too beat up, paint is fading like it’s set outside. Of course so has my old JD.

I too have the CT235, bought it used with 1300 hours, now has 2200, still running strong. Changed loader cylinder seals, set valves on it once, change filters and fluids as specked out. It is a work horse.

This one doesn’t have the quick attach system. Are there any conversion kits out there? I looked over Bobcat‘s parts catalog, but couldn’t find anything.

I have the CT 225. Same tractor just three less horsepower. Best tractor I’ve ever owned it’s fantastic. I work it hard and it has held up well. I think I have around 600 hours on mine and mine is a 2012 model. I know they did some upgrades to the loader but not sure what year. Yes they do make a conversion kit for the front to use quick attach.
I don’t Remember where I saw it available but I’m sure an Internet search should reveal what you’re looking for.
