2009-2010 models jinmas,how are they holding up??

was just wondering how many people have bought jinmas in the last 2 yearsand how good a service your getting out of your jinmas.Iam considering buying one and was wondering how much inprovement has been made since year 2000.any complaints or favorable reviews are welcome thanks

I have an 08 284 The only complaint that I have is that I am not very tractor savy. Soon after your run in period, before 50 hours, you should have the valves checked and adjusted. I was haveing starting problems and the #2 exahust valve was too tight, and the #2 intake too loose. All valves are now in sinck and I like my 284.
For the money as far as I am concerned a great deal.
PS I purchased a crated tractor and assembled it myself, 10&1/2 hours is all it took to get it together.

Not a late model but I did buy a assembled 2003 284 brand new July 4th weekend 2003. All that has been done to it is a battery, starter, one hydraulic hose, and a new thermostat. I also had to rebuild the steering cylinder.

The battery lasted 5 years so no issue there. Starter gave me troubles from day one and after about 2 years I got the gear reduction unit and no more issues.

By the way I have a loader and use it very hard. Its got about 900 hours on it and I have never touched the valves or clutch after 50 hour servicing. Been great.
