Hello,
I've come across a dealer who has 3 2009 and one 2010 Ferris IS 2000s in stock - and he's got them pretty attractively priced ($7K-$8K range).
It looks as though the 2009 IS 2000s don't have the ICD decks. And these decks don't have the striping kit.
Any reason to pass up these offers and buy a 2011 instead? Was there any major changes to the IS2000 between 2008 and 2011 (other than the deck)?
He has 3 52" deck and 1 61" deck, I'd debating which to buy, but I know I want an IS 2000 - any experiences with these 61" decks scalping?
All units have 25 or 26 hp Kawasaki motors.
This dealer actually let me load up a demo IS 2000 and take it home - its sitting on my trailer in my garage right now - so I'm fired up to give it a try on my home turf tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice!
Darren
