2009 Kubota 9540 Price/Thoughts

Hey guys, Ive read your responses but Im a little confused about the "Dual Speed". On the 6 Speed shifter this is also a small Orange button the shifter. The salesman that this was a "electronic clutch" to shift the tractor without using the pedal clutch. On the forum, you guys are saying its a splitter and the tractors really a 24 Speed? Can anyone please clearify
Also, EPTO I assume is economy PTO? How do I tell if it has that? The pto is a electronic knob on this model. Thank you

Bingo. That's the power shifting dual speed providing 24 speeds.

EPTO tractors have a small shifter lever just to the right and slightly above the PTO shaft.

Both dual speed power shifting 24 speed and EPTO were available on the 9540. Dual speed on cab only.

Do not trust tractordata.

I did not know that. I don't recall either being an option ony 2012 model. Thanks for the heads up. As I said before I think the 24spd would be very useful.

Looked at the tractor today. They needed full price 29,900 because it hasent been fully serviced yet incase they find anything else

that would be my main concern. if it checks out ok, the 24 sp would be icing on the cake. seems like a good deal, but worth doing your homework. post pics if you fall into the deal

Like ovrszd and big bubba I own the same tractor and it's our favorite. We use a 10' Woods rotary cutter and right now are pulling a 10' disk to prepare for CRP. We also use a grapple, tree puller and sprayer. All I can do is agree with them. We looked all the competitors and bought this one; no regrets.
