Well...I have put a couple of hours on it so far. And I can say that this is a very fine machine! I am being carefull at this point due to engine break-in, but I can tell its gonna do all I want it to. Ergonomics are great. The beer holder is in a perfect position and snugs the frosty beverage nicely even with a coozie on it. The brakes are awsome, steel braided lines are a nice standard feature. Steering is darn near effortless, and this is not even a power steering model! Kudos Polaris!! and Great Plains Kubota/Polaris!

Haven't heard about the '09s having this problem, but on the '08s, the cup holder would fly out...sometimes while driving, or on the trailer.....so if yours starts feeling loose, bring it by and I'll fix it up like we did the '08s.

I'm getting in here late. But what the heck. I have a o6 Ranger 500. Well worth the money. I agree that the location of the emergency brake location could be better. With 3 people riding, you better know the one next to you when you reach to disengage or engage the brake. This thing is a work horse. Pulled a van out of a mud hole once.

I've got about 80 hours on it now. I really like this thing! My dog, Boomer, likes it too! He goes everywhere I do. This is a very impressive machine!
