Hello all,

I've noticed a wierd latency affect on my 200CX loader. While operating I do the occaisional backdragging, nothing major though.... Generally, I'll dump a load and uncurl the bucket to backdrag, I put the bucket down in front of the material and drive in reverse. The problem is rather than maintaining the uncurled position, the bucket re-curls again and just goes overtop the material. I remedy this by using pushing the SCV lever up a little longer (in the uncurl position), maybe 3 seconds until the hyd oil 're-energizes' the cylinders. Then everything works like a treat.

Is this normal FEL operation or is it loosing pressure somewhere?

I have a 2210, this subject has been discussed many times over the last couple of years. All the 2000 series do this. The severity can be reduced by eliminating the fast dump feature of the spool valve. The manual shows you how to do this. Running at high rpm's also helps. I think more or less when you dump, the hyd. fluid is moving faster than the pump is able to supply.

I discussed this issue with my dealer today. I explained the symptom and he said it's very consistent with other issues he's heard of from 200CX users. Apparently there's a new product upgrade/repair bulletin on the 200CX loader having to do with one of the valves. He believes this might address the sluggishness that I'm experiencing.

During our conversation, he wasn't certain if the bulletin advises to notify all owners or if it's one of those 'fix-on-detection'-kind of issues.

I asked him to provide me with a spec sheet from Deere on the issue. I'll post whatever comes back.

I got a copy of "Solution Number: 35065" today from the dealer about this. There are some parts available (orifice) , but my dealer said they would not be covered by the warrenty.

That sounds familiar. The same people that have pictures with 2 fender handles and send the tractor out with 1. Of course you can buy the 29 cent piece for 31 dollars. ( 15 grand for a 21hp tractor... I thought they could have thrown one in ) Deere is losing alot of customers with their business ways. That is why I bought a New Holland TC 55 DA. to replace my big tractor. The dealer stated they take pride in their service and customer relations. They depend on repeat and satisfied customers.

Can you post the bulletin?

I'll try!

If this doesn't work, I scanned the document and can email it to you.

Thanks davkir! That's the one!

Mine is definitely covered under warranty according to my dealer and he's encouraging me to get my machine in to get it repaired as the parts have already come in. They also want me to bring in the 62C deck at the same time to assess the other issue I'm having with the mower where the shaft is making contact with the break linkage. All I need to do is find a time where I can do without my machine for a couple of days :-(

Any news on this yet?

Thanks
