My WM55 started with intermittent starting problems and now won't start.
I need a wiring diagram to troubleshoot further.
I've traced it to the power to the fuel shut off solenoid.
If I wire the solenoid directly to the battery it operates properly and starts reliably. It draws < 1 amp which seems reasonable.
The safety switches are all operating normally.
the only one that may still be an issue is the seat switch. It has 4 contacts so I assume there are two switches or one normally closed and one normally open that changes state with the operator sitting down. It does recognize if I get out of the seat (running in neutral with parking break off - if I get up the alarm goes off)
If I turn the key on and measure the voltage of the fuel shut off wire disconnected there is 12 V. But if I plug it onto the solenoid it drops to 0.2 V.
I suspect the operator module (fuel control module) but it sure would be nice to confirm the wiring before I invest in a 70$ module.
I've wired a bypass switch in so I can use the tractor but want to fix the problem.
Thanks for any help.
