Hey guys i have an opportunity to buy a bh77 backhoe attachment from 2011, i know i will have to buy the subframe kit for the tractor side but will a bh77 from 2011 work fine with a subframe kit for a 2017 L3901,, does any know if they have changed much over that amount of time, also will the subframe kit come with tractor side hydraulics or is there also an additional kit for that,,thanks
Probably check with Messick's. They do have on-line parts/accessories lookup which should include your tractor.
I had a 3pt backhoe that I adapted to fit my L3540 subframe. I researched subframes for this tractor by doing an on-line search for Kubota whole goods catalog. Once I found one, it listed subframes for my tractor for the BH-77, BH-90 & the BH-92. I purchased the subframe for the BH-77 and was able to use the extension adapters for the BH-77 on my 3pt backhoe with some modifications. These adapters are for a cab tractor/backhoe combination. I can now hook up my backhoe the same way a factory backhoe is hooked up - except for the hydraulics which is provided by a PTO pump. The point of this is, with a little research, you can figure it out.
