2012 MAssey gc 2610- been out all winter, now some gauges and brakes dont work

HI All,

I am guessing i have mulitple issues. I live in MD so the climate isnt too severe. Went to use the tractor this past weekend and noticed the brakes did work and made some groaning sound when i pressed the pedal. Also, my TAC and Temp gauges arent working. I have previously replaced the tac gauge and noticed that it was fairly loose on the block. I did try to tighten it but its hard to get to and it didnt seem to solve anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably connections on the gauges. The brakes probably have rust of them, I would apply some pressure to the brakes and drive a bit with them on to clean them.

Thanks for responding. I actually was driving around with the parking brake locked in the on position for a while before i realized it. Once i released it, i still had the same issue with no brakes and groaning noise. As for the gauges, are you suggesting unhooking both ends and then reconnecting?

I would do that yes. When you say "been out all winter" do you mean outside in the weather all winter?

Yes, it has been sitting outside since last summer. I ran it a couple weeks ago to shovel my DWAY and everything was fine. At least i think it was fine. I dont usually have to step on the brake that often. SHouldnt the brakes work even with some rust on them? They groan AND dont work. I have to step on the reverse pedal to act as my brake currently.

Probably all rusted and stuck being out in the weather would be my guess. Probably have to take them apart, use some brake clean to un seize them and lube them up.
