Mowing 2013 5083e (69 pto) - 15' Rotary Cutter

Just bought a new 5083e. Does anyone currently use this tractor (or similar powered) with a 15' shredder? If so, does is handle it ok?

I bought an 8' shredder from my dad to use for now later I plan to upgrade to a 15' when I can afford it. I have 250 acres to mow annually.

My dad has a Kubota 7040 (60 pto) that he mows with 15' shredder with, it does fine, I've mowed with it. I had to clutch down some mowing thick nuts edge. But I also attributed it to a (not so robust) transmission 8x8.
Note: my dad mows 700-1000 acres with his annually.

Anyway... Thoughts??

You can handle a light 15' mower no problem. You have plenty of power to run it, but I find the 3pt hitch on the E's rather dissapointing especially the lift capacity.

What does 3pt have to do with it? These are pull-type shredders.

On relatively flat land in light to medium grass/brush it should do ok. We use a 15' woods batwing on a M9540 Kubota (82 PTO hp) and it's about about as small as I'd want to go with the hills and tough conditions we have around here. Ideally you want 100+ pto hp to really get full use out of a batwing, but you can get by with less if you take your time.

Sorry, didn't know you were talking about a drawbar pull mower. I do know someone with a 2013 5093 with a 15' rotary mower (3pt lift) and it handles it fine but it is not a heavy duty model.
