Mahindra 2015 4wd
I'm new to the forum. My name is James. I have a Mahindra 2015 gear, and had something kinda weird happen.
So far I've only had one problem with this tractor. The small hose that goes from the radiator drain plug up to the engine block pulled off, and all the coolant dumped on my driveway. I cleaned it up before any thirsty cats showed up! Not a huge deal, but I had to take the loader off, and even with my relatively small hands, I couldn't get in there to get it back on. Took 2 hours. All fixed now, but i was wondering if anyone else had this happen.

When I have to work on my 2615 engine I raise the loader all the way up and support block it with a 4x4. Then I raise the hood and take the engine side panels off. I haven't seen the 2015 but think it is the same setup. Why did you have to take the loader off? I used my same procedure when I installed the lower inline radiator hose heater. Completed that install in a half hour. You could have run the motor with that hose off for the 10 seconds it takes to raise the loader or were you just over cautious.

George2615,

I tried to get in there to re-attach the hose, but i couldn't get the flashlight in there to see what I was doing. The brass hose fitting on the block is barely visible behind everything. That loader cross-brace was right in the way. The hose had to be attached behind the throttle cables, and a mess of other stuff. It was very tight, and i was almost ready to start throwing things!!! I'm sure you know the feeling.

I removed the lower radiator hose from my 2015 once to install the hose heater. I think the whole install only took 30 minutes or so, but I think you had a problem with a different hose. I'm working from memory here, but I think you're talking about the 1" or 3/4" line with the white drain valve in it?

I've never heard of anyone having that hose pop off before. You were smart to drop the loader, it makes accessing the lower portion of the engine compartment a lot easier (with a little practice that loader goes on and off in no time).
