2015 NH Workmaster 35 not starting

My Father inlaw has a 2014 or 15 new Holland workmaster 35 utility tractor that is cranking over but will not start. It has fuel going to the filter but not sure if its getting through to the engine or not. I have not looked at it yet but he did order a new filter that will be here Tuesday. Is there any electronics that might be bad or not letting the fuel get to the motor? Any help would be grateful.

Most newer tractors have a fuel shutoff solenoid. The purpose is to kill the engine when you turn off the key. After you change the filter you should probably bleed the lines. How are your glow plugs?

It always starts right up. This tractor was bought new and has very low hours. Maybe I need to look at them. I bet it's the solenoid.

Update. Went over to his tractor and found that with the key on testing the yellow wire going to the fuel solenoid didn't have 12 volts coming out. Then I played around messing with things and re tested the same wire with the key on and had 12 volts, so I plugged the connector back together and tried to start the tractor. It tried to start then nothing, so I made a jumper wire and plugged it into the solenoid directly and had my father inlaw hold it on the 12v + side of the battery and tried starting it again and it fired right up. We let it run until it warmed up. Now with everything plugged back in like it's supposed to be it starts and runs on it's own. I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow and see what relay/? Powers the solenoid and buy one. I have no wiring diagram to figure this out.

i got mad and left the 12v jumper from the fuse block on my wm45.

Update. We changed out the fuel filter and took out the water separator sensor and tested it. It checked good and the tractor will run run without it hooked up ,not sure if it's supposed to or not. Other then that it starts fine now and the fuel filter was pretty bad as far as stuff being inside that might have been the problem all along. Time will tell.
