2017 Mahindra 2545 Front rim and AG tire

It took 265 hours but the inevitable happened last Sunday. Got a front flat while reclaiming a field. The tire guy fixed it by installing a tube.

I'd like to take the tube tire off and replace it with a new rim and tire. I'll keep the the other as a spare.

The price the dealer quoted compared to an on-line comparison is the reason for this tread.

I have a 2017 Mahindra 2545. AG Rim is a six bolt 8.16 x 16. The tire is a Goodyear 8.3 x 16.

If you were shopping for a new rim and tire where other than the dealer would you go please?

Local tire stores. They can get tires and a good shop can locate the rim or know of a good wheel manufacturer. An ag wheel shouldn’t be too hard to make.

Found a Goodyear replacement tire with the tire company who did my road service. It sure pays to shop around. Saved over $80 from the dealer offer. Same tire.
The dealer offered me a price for a rim but I'm still going to do a little more shopping.

I’m surprised you local tire dealer didn’t have a line on the rim too. A low speed tractor rim should be an easy one.
