2018 Kioti CK3510HST hydrostatic transmission oil filter no.

This afternoon I was doing some servicing on my tractor and thought I had the correct oil filters and just replaced them one at a time to try and ensure I didn't mix them up. Well in the process of doing I guess I must of from what some videos on youtube tell me the hydrostatic transmission oil filter is on the left side where you get in ( I have a cab on my tractor). And the hydraulic system filter is on the right side. Well when I had replaced both filters and turned started the tractor the hydrostat filter was pouring out oil (and all over the driveway to boot) but the hydraulic one didn't. So feeling kinda stupid and it was too late to go the dealer to get the proper one I took off the leaking one and put the old one on to prevent any contamination and any more oil on the driveway while leaving the oil pan beneath it. What is the proper part no. for the hydrostatic oil filter so I can ensure I get the right one tomorrow?

Yep, I done the same thing as you did. But I just swapped them after I found my mistake. The factory filters are same color and lack part numbers on them. Replacement filter for HST is orange to prevent mixup, with part number printed onto filter.

Hydraulic filter: T2185-38031
HST filter: T5855-46531 (orange)

Don't forget to fill the hydraulic fluid to proper level.

I believe the filters have different size inlet holes, I believe the HST has the small - I do the same keep them separate, one at a time but my final inspection is to match the holes......

Yeah this afternoon I got it all sorted but talk about feeling like the 'horse's arse'. Thankfully the limestone gravel on the driveway sucked up the spilt oil like a sponge too I mixed it all up afterwards so one part doesn't look darker than the other. If anybody asks it's fish oil. lol

The Good News is, since all future replacement filters are color coded and have the parts numbers on them, this mistake will probably not be duplicated again. I don't know why Kioti does not use color coded filters at the factory, or at least place the part number on factory filters. It would seem a natural and effective way to help future owners install the correct filter in the correct slot.
