2020 PTO SEAL

Is it possible to replace the PTO shaft seal on a YM2020 without pulling the entire cluster out of the tractor? If so, How?

Kicking myself for not replacing it when I replaced the rear axle seals last winter

I replaced both rear axle seals but didn't replace the PTO seal.

Why not buy the seal from Tom ( he can't be far from you ) & ask some of the guys there if they have a diagram ?

Can't help you on the PTO seals, but how hard was it to change the rear axle seals? My right rear on my 2210 has developed a slight leak. Also, where did you get the seals and did you change the bearings also?

Not a real hard job. Had to pull the PTO cluster in order to unkey the axles and pull them out, then had to pull the top 3PH off in order to get the linkage to hook up when reinstalling the PTO cluster.

Once you get the cluster out it's very easy to pull the axles and replace the seals. Just be sure while you're in it this far to replace both axle seals even though only one may be leaking. Didn't replace bearings, no need to all were very smooth.

Got the seals at Fredricks since I live about 30 miles from them. The seals were less than $20 each. Replacing the PTO seal at the time didn't even cross my mind, wish it had!!!!!
