So the 2020 is nearly leak free at this point. However, the tach cable where it enters the housing near the oil pressure sensor leaks, not real bad, but bad enough, better than it was. When I last had it off, I used some Permatex Ultra Black (maximum oil resistance) on the threads which I also used with success on the oil pan gasket, but it's still leaking. Is there any better solution or do I just need to try again. It's in a horrible place to try to tighten properly, even after taking off a lot of the linkages that are in the way.

I finally got around to installing the new bushing today. Then when I had everything ready and the pedal off so I could get the cable out, the bushing was not in the plastic. Went back to the house looked around and no joy. Went back to pick up the tools and found the bushing on the concrete, lucky me. So the bushing goes inside the cable end not over it like I thought, I found what looked like an old crushed one left in the housing threads after I got the cable out, anyhow it's in place, not sure it's going to do the job, but hope so. I can't see that it does much, but I understand there's packing inside the hole which is impossible to see. We'll see.
