Hi guys! (and gals)
Try to keep it short. Bought a 2025R at a distress sale last fall. Getting it ready for the summer season here in NY. Two things.
First, the tractor only had 80 hours on it. Previous owner said he had engine oil changed but didn't service the transmission.
The tractor has a vibration in the left footboard, especially at higher RPM with PTO turning. The hydraulic filter is mounted directly to the floorboard on the left on this model, and YES you feel the vibration in the filter. I found one post relative to this vibration, nothing in those replies was helpful. Anyone else experience that problem? What was solution. I will be changing the filter and fluid this week. I'll post if it helps!
Thing two: $44.03 for a spin on oil filter!!!!! You got to be kidding. Every 200 hours? The AL156625 hydraulic filter is pricey indeed. Anyone find a reasonable replacement?
Thanks in advance. This site has been my savior in the past and I appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge and experience.
