I've had my 2025r a little over a year. I have a 62 in drive over Mmm.
So I decided to take the mower deck off.
Watched video and followed directions. Could not get it off. Then discovered I had to crawl under and disconnect the pro as well as tie up the front mower mount. Looks like I got screwed with this "drive over" machine.
Anyone else had this problem?

Have you discussed this with your Deere salesman? or saleswoman?

What does the operators' manual say to do?

Was this "discovery" showing up in the video in the directions you followed that didn't allow you to get it off?

Curious here..

Not sure about this particular series but I do know that my 2520 from several years ago had a drive over deck that required hooking and unhooking the deck drive shaft. I found it easiest to do from the rear of the tractor

"Drive over" is not the same as "Auto-connect". On my 2320 I removed the drawbar since I use a hitch on my quick hitch and that makes sliding under to get the PTO a lot easier. The front mount on my deck comes completely off.

Yes, I guess I was under the impression it was A quick connect vs a drive over only. My fault there. A reason to trade a 100 hr machine for a 2032.

My front connect for mmm has a shiny metal bail that is connected to tractor by a pin on each side.
Do you remove these pins?
I had to tie mine up because I couldn't back over deck with it hanging down.

On mine the front hanger hooks into the deck and sits on hooks on a bracket on the tractor. When you pull a spring loaded pin it comes loose from both the deck and tractor. Yours may be different.

A pic would confirm what you have, but I suspect it is the bail that just unhooks..

Does the front shiny bail look anything like this? latched and unlatched

Yes the bail comes completely off after pulling out the spring loaded pin. That's good.

Question, do they make a quick connect mmm for a 2025r ?

Not for the current 2025R. John Deere is coming out with a newly designed 2025R in the near future.
