Hi,
Looking for some information that I can not find on line.
I have a 755 and decided to put a loader on it. The supply of used model 70 loaders is just about non-existant. A new loader from John Deere is beyond what I want to put into a loader. Aftermarket loaders are very near the price of a new John Deere loader.
I bought a used in as-new condition 210 loader that I plan on mounting on the 755. I have a pretty good metal working shop, and modifying or making mounting brackets will not be a problem.
I have most of the measurements and details worked out, but I can not find the distance from the top of the tube the loader mounts on to the ground. From pictures, it looks as though the 755 frame sits about 5 or 6 inches higher than the frame on a 2210.
In the specs for a 210 mounted on a 2210, it lists a digging depth of almost 8 inches. When mounted on the 755, I would like to be able to keep a digging depth of at least 3 inches up to about 4 inches. If the 210 is mounted on the 755 at the heigth of the square hole in the frame of the 755, the digging depth might be less than the desired 3 inch.
Could someone that has a 2210 with a 210 loader measure the distance from the ground to the top of the square tube that the loader mounts on? Having that dimension would save a lot of time in making a set or mounts using best guess, and later having to rework them.
Thanks in advance,
Dale
