2110 differential locked

I locked the differential this afternoon and now I cannot get it to release, the owners manual said tap the brakes, I've pretty much stood up on them, cannot get it to release, anybody got a trick

Try reaching down and pulling up on the the lever with your hand.
My TC30 has a habit of not releasing w/o assistance. Some day I'll get around to figuring out why it sticks.

I assume you have tried turning the wheel slightly or reversing to free the binding/friction?

Likely the lever is just hanging up and needs to be just pulled up by hand. Check the linkage and put some penetrant oil on it to free it up. Usually reversing will unseat the locking mechanism if the linkage allows it.

Got it to free up this morning, had a good rain last night so the ground was soft, I pulled it up to a tree in low/low and bumped it several times while jerking up on the lever, it released, probably the first time it has ever been engaged, the man I got it from bought it new and he asked me what is that lever for?
