2120 HSS Clutch Issue

I dont remember hearing any unusual sounds when it happened, it just sort of stopped working. I will let you know what I find out. Thank you for the diagram and partial parts list, this is very helpful. I have been scouring the internet looking for an online version of the Service Manual for the 2120 to avoid having to get it shipped from somewhere. Do you know of an available PDf of the service manual? I realize there are no other reports of the issue being related to the internal working, such as the fork or throw out bearing, so I will investigate fully the frozen clutch disc option. I can't believe there is not an access panel that will let me see internal workings. If nothing else would it be possible for you to post the rest of the parts list for the diagram you previously posted?

I have a 1500 hour 2120 and have never had the clutch bond to the flywheel, but I know others have. Does your pedal feel like always, as if you're compressing the pressure plate fingers? That would make it less likely its the linkage and more likely a bonded disc. Anything new on this?

Good post, thanks for the link. I went to the parts site and it looks like there are "shear pins" holding the throwout bearing fingers to the shaft. Wonder if the pin(s) could be sheared? That would allow the shaft to rotate but not apply pressure to the bearing.
